Position
 
This is a key position within our organization that will require traveling nationally and working closely with many other professionals to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis.  The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines with high attention to detail.  To ensure success in this position the candidate must be able to translate project requirements into concrete figures with ease.
 
Essential Functions

  • Responsible for estimating projects while representing the company in a professional capacity
  • Estimates projects while simultaneously marketing and building relationships with clients and finding new opportunities
  • Complete a detailed scope, takeoff, and proposal for Commercial Projects through proposal form/estimating software
  • Work with architects, engineers, designers/firms, property management, end users
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and walk projects with BDs and/or clients to determine a clear scope of work
  • Contact vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain hard bids and/or square footage pricing for each bid proposal
  • Seek out new business opportunities and establish relationships that benefit Mooring USA and the brand
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • Degree in Business or Construction Management or equivalent OJT
  • 3-5 years experience in utilizing Xactimate for construction rebuilding and insurance claims
  • Experience in Commercial industry practices and estimating
  • Loyal and dependable
  • Training in industry standards and procedures
  • Responsible and task-driven
  • Available for travel as needed
