We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to support national commercial construction and disaster restoration projects. What You’ll Do
As a Estimator based out of our Fort Worth office, you will play a key role in supporting our project teams by developing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial projects. This role requires national travel and close collaboration with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project bidding and execution.

  • Prepare detailed scopes, takeoffs, and proposals using industry-standard tools
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks with clients and business development team
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and property management teams
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine clear scopes of work
  • Source pricing and quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Represent the company professionally while building strong client relationships
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that support Mooring’s growth
  • Travel as needed to project locations across the U.S.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Business, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • 5+ years of commercial construction estimating
  • Experience in commercial construction estimating and project scope development
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset
  • Ability to travel nationally as project needs arise

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with disaster restoration and insurance claim estimating
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Task-oriented, loyal, and proactive team player
