Own the Systems. Connect the Data. Bridge Every Gap.

We're looking for a detail-driven Business Systems Administrator to keep Mooring's applications, data, and IT partners working in sync.

Company Overview

Mooring is a third-generation, family-owned commercial disaster mitigation company with a commercial restoration division (reconstruction) and a remodel division (planned construction). We're professionals working for professionals in major industries coast-to-coast, minimizing business downtime for our clients with transparent, efficient, and effective methods of mitigation, restoration, and remodel. Whether it's damage from water, fire, mold, a natural disaster, or a refresh/rebrand — when you need us, we're already there.

These Core Values Drive Us

Join a team where Family Values, Integrity, Humility, Boldness, and Excellence are more than just words—they're the foundation of everything we do. Our mission is To Honor God Through Restoring Lives and Building Futures, and that starts with investing in our people. Here, you'll find a purpose-driven career, a supportive team, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. Choose a workplace where your values align with your work, and where every day is an opportunity to grow, serve, and succeed.

Does the Following Describe You?

We are looking for a humble, hungry, and smart individual who embodies our core values, maintains a positive attitude, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. You get energized by figuring out why two systems don't agree and don't stop until the fix holds, and you're just as comfortable being the point person with outside vendors as you are heads-down solving a problem.

Who We Want

We're seeking a Business Systems Administrator to join our Administration team and support the accuracy and reliability of the systems that keep Mooring's day-to-day operations running. They possess strong troubleshooting instincts, clear communication, and genuine curiosity about how the business actually works — not just how the software does. This role is ideal for someone who wants real ownership over the tools our team relies on every day and enjoys being the bridge between our people and our technology partners.

What You'll Do

  • Administer Mooring's core business applications — including our ERP, CRM, LMS, project and field systems, and Microsoft 365 — covering user access, configuration, and reporting
  • Keep our systems talking to each other, catching and fixing data mismatches before they become a problem
  • Own IT onboarding and offboarding, working with our managed services partner (Velo) so new hires are ready on day one and departing employees are fully offboarded the same day
  • Be the first person our team turns to with an application question, and know when to bring in Velo for anything infrastructure-related
  • Build simple training guides and quick-reference material for the tools our team uses most
  • Lead technology projects from planning through go-live, including new software rollouts and reporting tools
  • Track IT spend, manage license renewals, and support vendor contract negotiations
  • Get out from behind the desk to see how departments actually work, and recommend changes that keep our systems matched to how we really operate
Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 3–5 years administering business applications and supporting end users in an internal IT role
  • Hands-on experience with at least one core business system, such as an ERP, CRM, or LMS, including experience with system integrations
  • Experience coordinating software implementations or technology rollouts through go-live and user adoption
  • Microsoft 365 administration experience, including user, license, and access management
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working alongside an outsourced managed service provider (MSP)
  • Experience supporting business systems in a multi-location or field-based organization
  • Comfortable troubleshooting issues across two or more connected systems
